Professor M, who is my friend’s father, has been teaching at FCS for over twenty years. As my roommate and I were casually talking to our friend, the daughter, she mentioned how her father and mother would often invite FCS student over for dinner. She added on to say that it was often because her parents liked playing matchmakers and dinner with at the professor’s house was a good opportunity for folks to get to know each other.

I believe she said that one couple resulting from that matchmaking ended up married.

Talk about canon. :)
